Another full-house Gender At Work Community lunch! This month, we focused on barriers that young women face in the workplace. A huge mihi to our panelists Tanya Ewertowska (AUT), Menorah Coombe (Te Whatu Ora) and Teresa Lee 李慧 (YWCA) for leading such a powerful kōrero; shedding light on topics such as bias and discrimination, the pivotal role of mentors and champions, community and purpose, flexibility, pay transparency and more.

One of our attendees shared that this was her favourite lunch event to date, expressing how she felt seen and heard. We love to hear it! 💜

The resounding message echoed throughout was that organisations can and should be taking bold steps to ensure that they have an equitable and supportive environment for young women.
